SEM DataBase

i am doing BE but i am not eligible for many companies because of my 10th marks although i got80% in 4th sem ?

why 10th marks matter in companies? why intelligent people are lacking behind why they are not able to sit in big companies like infosus,tcs etc why they are considerd as inferior although they are good and confident in aptitude,gd and interview?
i got 50%in 10 th and70% in 12th and 80% in be and i am preparing for companies very sincerely but then also i am not eligible!!!!!!!
please solve my queries

   see u hav although got gud marks in sem but even then 10th marks matter. Companies think that u must hav been an unsincere boy in 10th as u got less %age. wat u can do is try to convince them abt this and have a discussion on da same. maybe u can achieve sumthing frm dat………..
