are you in school also?
maybe ask a teacher if they can help
Does she have the option of retaking that particular course in the summer? ….if so, then maybe she should drop it, focus on the rest and then focus on it exclusively in the summer semester.
I also have issues with that bcuz i sat out of school for almost 4 years and went back and some of the basic stuff is just killer. But, what your mom needs to do is clean out those cob webs in her head and get back into the basics. Here’s what I do to help myself, I purchased a math book called Algebra: Dymystified and there’s all kind of problems in that book that helps me refresh and get my brain working again. I wouldn’t pay $200 bucks for a tutor, but some college programs offer free tutors so I would look into that for her. Have your mom pick one day out of the week, to brush up on basic stuff, trust me it’ll work.
I advise, CGP books, or diiferent types, the should helpher revise at home, and these types of books will cost a couple dollars/pounds or whatever currency you use.
ask any of your friends or their parents if they can help her out
