FILIPINOS: How many years does engineering have?

I want to take up the course ECE in MAPUA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.. or electronics and communications engineering. they say its 5 years.. but you can take it up for only 3 years and 1 sem, which means youll study the whole 3 years non stop for 3 semesters a year. is that true? it’ll be a help thanks!

   Maybe, you can finish it in three years and 1 semester, if you will pass it in flying colors.Studying continuously without a semestral break are too tedious for some students. Studying ECE in Manila might give you a problem when taking a US board Exam.
