and i’m scared to tell my parents as i’m the eldest in my family. i should give my siblings a good example. and i ashamed to my friends because before this i good at study. i too depressed with my result. although i have no subject that have to repeat but it is still bad for me. and i know my family will not give me encourage but too depressed me more. i’m being compared to their friends daughter and also my cousin who got flying colours in their final.

I have been considering various universities for an MS degree in the US……… I saw the fee’s to be varying greatly with every university.. for one it is 5000$/sem and other it’s as high as 15000$…….. Is it true that higher charging ones are usually good….???..

I wrote my 4th Sem B.Com exams in June,2007. But while sending the internal assessment marks my college sent my marks to another register number by mistake. I have gone to university so many times but they are not ready to help. I am planning to send a fax to the vice chancellor. If I don’t get my marks I can’t do anything. I can’t even apply for a job. Please suggest some solution to my problem.

I am about to be a senior, and I am seriously considering to start college in january(spring semester). The college I want to go to you are supposed to have 4 years of english, but since I want to start college at semester will 3.5 years of english be good enough?
if I HAVE to have for years should I just enroll in another english class so then if I take both for a semester it will equal 1 full year.

im a soph. my gpa is 3.124 but second sem i have 6 As and 2 Bs. i live in north jersey. i work all year round, go to chinese school on saturdays,am in 2 commutiy service clubs. will i get in?

I’m currently a senior in high school, unfortunately I got a D in Calculus AB my second semester of my junior year. I had already taken 3 years of Math before Calculus AB, so i met my requirements:
Summer:Geometry-A/B
9th grade:Algebra 2/Trig- B/A
10th grade:Pre-Calculus-A/B
11th grade:Calculus AB-C/D(my only D)
Now that I’m a senior, I’m taking Calculus BC(I know I’ll pass) which will be my fourth year of Math. My question is whether or not I could still get accepted into UC Riverside, UC Irvine, or even Cal State Long Beach with that darn D. I’m really worried!

Before that I was would generallybe considered an A- student but some issue where going on… I had more than a 4.0 G.P.A with weighted classes, but it has been brought down to a 3.8 I’m still in my junior year, but I ‘m working hard to make up for last semester, I am in all honors and AP classes. I am a Afro Amer. female and interested in majoring in Biomedical Engineering.
